Apple & Pear Pinot Gris, floral notes of rose water, with melon and hints of spice. A rich and textural palate displaying floral and tropical fruit. A soft, just off dry finish.

The palate is full and generous, sweet tropical fruits combine with characteristic pinot gris texture creating mouth filling length. Pinot gris is delicious sipped solo or enjoyed with seared or grilled fish and simple oven-roasted chicken.

This wine displays fresh aromatics, with ripe white fleshed nectarine and tropical honeydew melon coupled with ripe Nashi pear. The palate is rich and warm with spicy floral highlights and tropical notes and a lengthy, weighty finish.

As Winemakers, Stoneleigh are able to capture the natural early ripening characteristics of the Rapaura sub-region appellation, harvesting the grapes early with a full flavour profile to make a range of wines that are 25% lower in alcohol. Pale straw in colour, this wine shows lifted nashi pear and gala apple characters, with background topical guava and pineapple notes. The palate is lively and crisp with intense nashi pear, apple strudel and spicy flavours, complemented by a well-balanced acid structure.

In Stoneleigh's Marlborough vineyards, sunstones absorb sunshine during the day, radiating heat onto the vines at night, resulting in their distinctly vibrant wines. Stoneleigh Classic Pinot Gris displays ripe tropical fruit notes with Nashi pear and honeysuckle laced with subtle spicy notes.

TWR are passionate about aromatic varieties and particularly those from Alsace so it was only a matter of time until they took on the challenge of Pinot Gris. When they first bought their property they replanted a section of the old block with the Berry-Smith clone (also known as Larkham clone) of Pinot Gris. TWR selected this particular clone especially for its low cropping, small bunches and small berries as they felt it would deliver the best quality fruit.

This hand-harvested Central Otago Pinot Gris is made in a mildly sweet style, with inviting aromas which turn into flavours of nashi pear, fresh citrus and subtle ginger notes. Right in the heart of the magical Waihopai Valley, a million miles from anywhere, lies The Ned, one of Marlborough's most famous peaks. The Ned Pinot Gris - Uniquely salmon pink in colour, displaying juicy aromas of nectarine and white peach with underlining nuances of spice. The palate is lush and bright with juicy white peach flavours supported by spicy poached pear. This leads to an unctuous length stemming from vibrant Marlborough ripeness.

The wine displays lovely delicate floral Pinot Gris characters of fresh citrus, white pear and hints of lychee and spice.

This fruit-driven Pinot Gris from Marlborough's Awatere Valley displays bright aromas of orange blossom and juicy pear.
