Nineteen crimes turned convicts into colonists. Upon conviction British rogues guilty of a least one of the 19 crimes were sentenced to live in Australia, rather than death. As pioneers in a frontier penal colony, they forged a new country and new lives, brick by brick. This wine celebrates the rules they broke and the culture they built.

A luxurious Marlborough Chardonnay, displaying typical mineral notes from the Wairau Valley. The stone fruit, pear and almond aromas are rounded off with a scrumptious mouth feel from its time in oak.

Nobody has more experience growing grapes in Marlborough than Allan Scott. Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.

This Marlborough Chardonnay shows wonderful complexity, fresh aromas & flavours of citrus, stonefruit and hints of hazelnuts with a long, focused finish.

Aromas of ripe melon, dried stone fruits and vanilla. The palate is elegant and reflects the nose with a pleasing weight and long dry finish

An opulent, oaky, buttery and toasty styled Chardonnay created with 100% oak barrel fermentation, 100% malolactic fermentation and oak aged in a mix of French and American oak.

Specially selected from two estate-owned Hawke's Bay vineyards, this unoaked Chardonnay offers a creamy palate with melon and peach flavours, without the intrusion of oak. It has a clean, dry finish.

Aromas of lemon curd and stone fruits with apple and cashew. A rich and driving entry with lemon and peach on display early joined by notes of sweet pastry, white stone fruits and grapefruit. Bright focus, lovely poise and very lingering finish.

Babydoll's BABYDOLL sheep live beneath the vines, nibbling on grass and weeds and giving their name to these delicious wines. Small but mighty, they're wonderful groundskeepers. Yes, they need a little help to keep the mowing going. But it's all for the good of the grapes.

Bay and Barnes leaned on our cousins across the ditch for the grapes to make this classic Australian Chardonnay. Following harvest, fruit was gently pressed before settling. Specially selected yeasts were used to start fermentation. From there the wine was delicately matured on oak and lees stirred to impart lovely toasty flavours and a creamy texture.

Boundary Vineyards Tuki Tuki Chardonnay has a rich creamy palate with stonefruit flavours enhanced by a vibrant citrus finish.

On the nose are aromas of roasted nuts, toasted brioche, subtle creaminess and a hint of smoke. This is a flavourful, multidimensional Chardonnay with a core of ripe stone fruit and fragrant citrus. The palate is supple and soft, with gentle acidity providing freshness and balance.
