Intensely inky aubergine, the hue of this Carménère is a clue of the characters to come. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant and darkest cherry with complex notes of tobacco and molten tar introduce the flavourful palate. Flavours of dark cherry, blackcurrant leaf, tamarillo and blackberry are discovered, with spice and tobacco on the finish. The aromas and flavours of this Carménère benefit from decanting and allowing to warm and breathe for full enjoyment.

Tintara Cabernet Sauvignon displays complex and vibrant aromas of cassis, violets, mulberry and tobacco leaf with hints of black olive and mint. An elegant and balanced wine showing rich dark fruits, chocolate, black olive with hints of bay leaf and subtle vanilla spice.

There is plenty of fruit weight here, some mocha, and grilled meat notes, more vanilla coming through on palate. Supports Kea Conservation Trust, working to protect this majestic and cheeky bird.
