The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old is crafted from the harmonious combination of sherry seasoned American and European oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This expression opens with inviting aromas of fudge, candied citrus, vanilla, and soft spice. The palate reveals layers of milk chocolate raisins and creamy toffee, complemented by orange peel and gentle spice, leading to a medium finish with lingering sweet oak. An innovative twice-barreled bourbon, uniquely matured in two charred oak barrels to create its rich, layered character.
