Fragrant aromas of crunchy pear, and apple skin with a hint of rosehip lead you in. The medium-bodied palate is brimming with more joyously juicy orchard fruits, and as the wine opens up, hints of spice, dried figs and citrus peel emerge. This is a wine of elegant simplicity, that over-delivers on primary, immediate fruit freshness, perfectly balanced ripeness and acidity.

An organic wine grown in living soil. This Rosé wine is a true reflection of the grape. Clean and vibrant, a pure expression of New Zealand nature. A delicate tea-rose pink colour. It opens with a burst of juicy red fruit aromas, of strawberry, cranberry and raspberry sorbet which carry through to the palate. Vibrant acidity is enhanced by a creamy texture and notes of vanilla pod. The wine culminates in a mouthwatering finish with hints of white peach.

Powerfully aromatic, with intense passionfruit, capsicum, fennel and white pepper notes. Punchy flavours of citrus and green herbs complete this lively wine, sitting on vibrant fruit acids, and leading to a persistent finish.

This Pinot Gris brings alluring aromas of yellow stone fruits, fresh pear and a hint of mango with ginger spice. The complex juicy flavours are balanced with a subtle lusciousness. Off-dry style, enjoy on its own, with friends, or it pairs perfectly with fragrant Thai food.

A riot of ripe citrus and tropical fruit aromas. Loaded with juicy rock melon, lychee, vibrant stone fruits and lemongrass, the mouth-watering finish on this one deserves some serious savouring. Enjoy on its own with friends, or pair with seafood, salads, or soft cheeses.

The wine has delightful aromas of white peach, nectarines and subtle citrus zest join hints of cashew and cream. Fresh flavours of stone fruit combine with cashews and an underlying toastiness from the barrel fermentation to deliver a mouth-filling, enjoyable wine. It has a clean, elegant palate, a zesty acid backbone and long, persistent finish. A small portion of this wine was barrel fermented and then lees stirred for 4 months. After 6 - 8 months maturation in French oak, the wine was blended and bottled.

Sourced exclusively from Te Mata Estate's own vineyards. This Estate Vineyards Chardonnay was harvested from Bridge Pa Triangle, Woodthorpe Terraces and Havelock Hills vineyards. White gold in the glass, immediate refreshing appeal of ripe nectarine and lemon sorbet edged with sea-salt, roast almond and a hint of smoke from French oak. Delicious on its own, or a wonderful partner for both simply prepared and fuller flavoured seafood and white meat dishes.

The growing conditions in Marlborough mean that it is well-suited for the production of world class Chardonnay. A relatively cool climate results in a long, even growing season which is great for flavour development. This means that TWR can make a style of Chardonnay which balances concentration and complexity, whilst retaining the finesse that a higher natural acidity brings - which is unashamedly the style they like to drink!

TWR has a long standing reputation for producing one of NZ's finest Gewürztraminer and much of the credit must go to their vineyard. This wine is produced solely from 14 rows in the old block which were planted in 1979 and are some of the oldest vines in Marlborough. Intensely perfumed, with notes of lychees, mango, ripe oranges and cloves. These lead into luscious varietal flavours of lychee and quince, with underlying characters of ginger and exotic spice. The palate shows intense fruit concentration and weight with a fine, soft texture and excellent persistence of flavour.
